Take a short walk to the Lobster Inn. Clams Casino to start, then maybe Twin Lobster Culls and the Chocolate Cake for desert. Enjoy a Peroni beer on draft at the busy bar or just watch the locals trying to dock their boats in the marina. Telephone (631) 283 1525
Take a walk along the bay beach to the Beach Hut.
Probably the nearest thing you will find to an English Pub in the Hamptons, except the food is much better than you would find at a typical English Pub.
Great place on nice day. Right on a marina along the Shinnecock canal.

Low key place, fresh sea food.
It is certainly worth considering taking a trip to Shelter Island (via Ferry from Sag Harbor) to visit Sunset Beach.
Restaurant becomes a dance floor late in the evening on some nights.
You will likely need to book a reservation in advance of your stay to get a table at weekends.
